Alright let's get started, Nicola. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? 

My name is Nicola, I'm 24 years old and work as a blogger.

Cool, where do you live, Nicola? 

Wiesbaden, Germany and Meilen, Switzerland

So, you’ve a lot of followers on Instagram with exceptionally high engagement, how did that happen? 

I started my Instagram Channel in 2013 it was way smaller back then and it was a great place for people to get to know you and your blog and I grew year by year after that. I try to keep as real as possible as I think it is hugely important nowadays to not only show people the perfect days of your life but also events that form or have formed who you are.

Besides Instagram,  where else can people find you online?

Now, with a growing fan base and high quality content you're on a really great trajectory. But what's your goal (or dream even) say, in a year from now?  Where would you want to be? 

My goal is to fully live of my blog and grow a famous youtube channel as I think that it is the easiest way to offer my followers the most personal impressions.

That sounds so exciting! What's your favourite brand that you follow on Instagram? 


Sweet! Speaking of brands and Instagram, how many brands are contacting you for collaborations each month? 


Congrats, that's amazing and quickly adds up to alot of opportunities this year. With that many brands reaching out to you, what’s your #1 advice for brands that are looking to run brand marketing campaigns with online content creators and influencers like yourself? 

To offer us a good value and appreciate who we are and what we are doing. I always put way more effort in campaigns that are paid correctly. If you take me seriously I take you seriously ;) and you have to at least know my name. :D

And what are your thoughts about brands that are contacting you to do work for them without any compensation (just free products)? 

I think they cut themselves by it because bloggers are willing to offer you more if they are paid. Rather go with less bloggers and pay them even if it is only a little amount of money. This way the blogger feels not used by the company. 

On the topic of compensation and disclosure, how is your audience reacting to #sponsored posts? 

They know that I only show products I love and that I stay true to the brands I love. My favorites are longterm sponsored relationships . 

What’s your #1 advice for other digital creators like yourself that are looking to run successful brand collaborations? 

Don't do everything for free. 

Final question about brand collaborations then: The Brands that you are choosing to work with – What are the main factors when you choose to collaborate with a brand? 

Professionality, great designs that fit to my style and who I am and creative freedom. 

You recently participated in one of our campaigns with Polaroid Eyewear along with 260 other people. How did this campaign differ from other collaborations you have done or seen others do and why? 

I loved the way how easy it was to just fill everything in in these forms. The payment and product shipment was also very professional and I got answered the questions I had right away. 

And what's it like working with Relatable? 

Relatable is different from the other agencies I've worked with because it has a great website and internet appearance. 

That's lovely to hear! Final question – If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be? 

Audrey Hepburn, as she was such a lovely human being and I am sure I could learn a lot from her.
