Alright let's get started, Lavenda. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Lavenda, I'm 32 years old and work as a blogger.

So, you’ve a lot of followers on Instagram with exceptionally high engagement, how did that happen?
A lot of hard work. People ask me all the time how to "get big quick" but learning to create consistent, quality content takes time.
Besides Instagram, where else can people find you online?
Now, with a growing fan base of more than 135,000 followers and high quality content you're on a really great trajectory. But what's your goal (or dream even) say, in a year from now? Where would you want to be?
I want to be manufacturing my own jewelry line and running an online resource center for young girls in need.

Sweet! Speaking of brands and Instagram, how many brands are contacting you for collaborations each month?
Congrats, that's amazing and quickly adds up to lots of opportunities this year. With that many brands reaching out to you, what’s your #1 advice for brands that are looking to run brand marketing campaigns with online content creators and influencers like yourself?
Allow the influencers to do their own thing. When we have too many parameters it stifles the creativity that you've hired us for in the first place ;)
And what are your thoughts about brands that are contacting you to do work for them without any compensation (just free products)?
If they're willing to compensate by larger valued product, I feel like that makes sense enough... Telling me that they're offering me "an opportunity" however, is not a good start, haha.
On the topic of compensation and disclosure, how is your audience reacting to #sponsored posts?
They often tell me that they value how I stay true to my style despite working with sponsors... :)
What’s your #1 advice for other digital creators like yourself that are looking to run successful brand collaborations?
Be professional and know your value. Be kind and work hard. Be competitive, but not petty.
Final question about brand collaborations then: The Brands that you are choosing to work with – What are the main factors when you choose to collaborate with a brand?
I want quality products that I can stand behind. My style is versatile, so I love the challenge of styling something I've never worn previously. But I always have to truly like the product, otherwise it's a bummer for the brand when I have to tell my followers otherwise.
You recently participated in one of our campaigns with Polaroid Eyewear along with 260 other people. How did this campaign differ from other collaborations you have done or seen others do and why?
This was SUPER easy! And quick. I love all the detailed outlines and reminders. As an influencer it gets tough when you're chasing down info or lose a thread that holds all the tags, etc. Relatable was well organized. I love that.
And what's it like working with Relatable?
It was great! I'd love to work with them anytime!
That's lovely to hear! Final question – If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?
Hm... My daughter. She's my favorite.
