Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? My name is Tosha Eason, I'm 35 years old and work as a creative consultant and photographer.
Cool, where do you live, Tosha?
Los Angeles, CaliforniaSo, you’ve got 24.5k followers on Instagram with exceptionally high engagement, how did that happen?
I began blogging and my fan base grew from that platform. And where can people find you online besides on Instagram?
You can check out http://www.tmecreative.comOkay, May I ask – What’s your dream, goal or rather – Where would you want to be in a year from now professionally?
I'd like to own my own successful clothing line and have more financial security.
That sounds so exciting! What's your favourite brand that you follow on Instagram?
Speaking of brands and Instagram, how many brands are contacting you for collaborations each month?
Congrats, that's amazing! With that many brands reaching out to you, what’s your #1 advice for brands that are looking to run brand marketing campaigns with online content creators and influencers like yourself?
Treat us like the content creators we are and value and respect the time, effort and work we put into creating content for them.
And what are your thoughts about brands that are contacting you to do work for them without any compensation (just free products)?
I say no thank you, I think it's really disrespectful to ask someone to advertise on their platform for free or for just product unless the product is well worth it.
How is your audience reacting to sponsored posts?
They respond well depending on the product which is why I'm very selective in which brands I choose to work with, Instagram is changing so they're going with the flow.
What’s your #1 advice for other digital creators like yourself that are looking to run successful brand collaborations?
Know your works value, treat it as a business, never give a brand less than your best and be yourself in every promotion.
Final question about brand collaborations then:The Brands that you are choosing to work with – What are the main factors when you choose to collaborate with a brand?
I make sure they align with my brand, I think about my followers and if I can create content for the brand that they can relate to.
You recently participated in one of our campaigns with Polaroid Eyewear along with 260 other people. How did this campaign differ from other collaborations you have done or seen others do and why?
It was massive first of all, and I loved that it was a product that I could wear since I'm fashion based. It was really fun and not difficult to create the content.
And what's it like working with Relatable?
I love working with relatable honestly, one of my favorite agencies. I actually get so sad if I wake up and miss a campaign because of the time difference.Relatable pays quicker than any other agency, other agencies pay wait to me 30-45 days later which is unacceptable. I don't make the brand wait that long to post their content, so Relatable is amazing for this. I don't think there's much I would change, I think I just don't want to miss that email in the middle of the night. Maybe if there were a platform where we could have our own profiles and app notifications.
That's lovely to hear! Final question – If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Thank you Tosha! Anything else you'd like to say?I seriously love working for Relatable. I get excited when I see an email from you guys. Keep up the great work! :-)
And with those kind words we'll wrap up and encourage everyone to follow Tosha on Instagram and check out http://www.tmecreative.com
